Shaded/Powder Brows
Shaded brows (also called Powder Brows or Ombre brows) offer a great deal of versatility and longer lasting results. This technique can range from very soft/natural to bold--it is designed to mimic brow makeup done with eyebrow pencil or shadow. The advantage of this technique is the range of possible results: soft shading to create the illusion of more hair without being over done OR a bolder look with more dense shading for a more dramatic effect. Shading techniques work on most skin types and are ideal for oilier skin or clients with larger pores.
Hairstrokes: Nano & Microblading

Hairstrokes can be achieved using different tools: Microblading is a hairstroke technique created using a small scalpel-like tool (it is more ideal on younger/more resilient skin) Hairstrokes can also be achieved by machine -often called 'Nano Brows' (less traumatic to skin than Microblading). Hairstrokes will often not retain as long as other techniques and can be dependent upon skin type. NOTE: Oily or mature skin requires special consideration for any hair stroke technique. Results could fade faster, potentially require more touch ups or not retain well. Over time, the strokes might blur (become less "crisp")--especially on skin that is not ideal for hairstroke technique. So what to do if you have oily skin? Shading or a combination of strokes and shading may be a better option!
Combination Brows

Shading techniques used in combination with hairstrokes can create a more dense, full brow look. This is a good option for many people: those with oily or combination skin; those with little to no eyebrow hair; those with very delicate skin; those who use pencil or powder makeup on their brows. This is the better option for oily skin, but hairstrokes or microblading (done in brow head) still may not retain well. The denser look is created by combining the hair like strokes with a shading technique that implants hundreds of tiny dots between the hairs to create the fuller look. This can create a very natural look which can be adjusted and customized during your appointment.
EyeLiner

Permanent Eyeliner frames the eye and creates more definition. Eyeliner can often retain its color longer than other procedures. Options can be customized to create looks ranging from subtle to dramatic. A "lash enhancement" is the most subtle option which involves pigment placed only within the lash bed--this is the most natural look and will often make lashes appear darker and fuller. Classic eyeliner is pigment placed above the lash line and can be done in a wide range of styles : thicker/thinner (depending upon desired look) and top/bottom or both. A more dramatic look can be achieved with a thicker or extended (wing) eyeliner. More advanced shading options are also available. NOTE: the dramatic/advanced looks may not be ideal for more mature skin.

As we age, the contrast and definition of the lip vermillion border is often lost and overall color of the lips can fade. Beautiful lips can be re-created by redefining the vermillion border--emphasizing the lip outline makes the lips look fuller and fine lines around the mouth often appear softened. Corrections can also be made to thin or unsymmetrical lips and balancing the upper and lower lips. Adding full color to the lip results in a healed look that is a natural "blush" of color (less intense than a traditional lipstick look).

3D Areola Tattoo

Areola Tattoo (or Micropigmentation) creates the image of an areola & nipple and often done post-mastectomy or after breast reconstruction. Areola tattoos are completely customized: we work with you to select the placement, shape, and size. A customized color pallet is selected to coordinate with your skin and look the most natural. Our Areola tattoos are hyper-realistic and designed to look 3 dimensional: strategic placement of color and shadow create the visual image of a protruding nipple. Two appointments ensure the color & shading are optimal to create a lasting effect. In most cases this type of tattoo is permanent; some may require a touch up after many years (varies based on exposure to sun, chlorine, salt water). An in-person consultation before proceeding is ideal to assess skin health & condition and desired end-result.
Scar Camouflage & Reduction

This procedure varies greatly based on the type of scar tissue--all scars require evaluation to determine if the scar can be treated and the most appropriate technique to utilize. Corrective pigment camouflage involves tattooing of the skin with different colors of flesh tone pigments to disguise a scar or skin area that is missing pigment or color. Success is highly dependent upon the type of scar, where it is located and overall skin color. Scar location can play a big factor in how successful camouflage can be. Skin needling treatments (prior to camouflage) may be effective to improve the texture of scars & overall skin health--this is sometimes the best option to reduce the appearance of scars. In most cases, scar camouflage requires several appointments—(2-6 sessions spaced 6-10 weeks apart). All scars are unique and it may take time to achieve the best results. An in-person consultation is advisable before proceeding to assess scar characteristics, skin health & condition, discuss desired end-result and review treatment options.
